Additions/Cancellations: Please make sure your order is correct before checking out here on the website. If you decide to purchase additional merchandise, another order will need to be placed, but you can always email me right away so I know to try combining the shipping. If I am able to combine shipping, all overages over a dollar will be refunded. Orders can be cancelled on Customer's end if it is done before I ship your order, however please know that this will incur a 10% restocking fee which will be subtracted from your refund. Please note: I try to ship out orders as quickly as possible so it's possible your order could be processed the same day you place your order. Orders that have been shipped cannot be cancelled or your money refunded. I do send out a Delivery Confirmation number to the email provided.

Shipping & Handling: I always try to ship merchandise in the US and Internationally within 1-3 business days after you place your order--unless it is a custom or wholesale order, then that will be determined at time of payment--however, please allow 7-10 days during the busy holiday season. Order delivery times may vary greatly, especially overseas and during the Covid-19 pandemic. Please allow up 5 weeks for international sales. I do not have any control over delivery times once your package leaves my facility. Any order totaling $35.00 or more will get free shipping within the United States. Unfortunately, I simply cannot provide free shipping for International orders, but welcome those willing to pay shipping and all duties due.

Lost or Stolen Packages: I am not responsible for any lost packages sent to the wrong address provided by buyer. Please make sure your PayPal and/or credit card account is up to date before confirming sale. If you do notice that the address is wrong after the transaction goes through, contact me immediately and I will try my best to rectify the situation. If you would like to put insurance on your package(s), please indicate this before purchasing items. I use USPS and UPS as means of delivery and always try to use the cheapest option possible. *Please note that I require all orders over $100 to have both insurance and be signed for. 

Satisfaction Guarantee: Here at Mother Esque, customer satisfaction is my one of my top priorities. I know that if my clients are happy, they will become--more often then not--repeat customers. Because of this and knowing the quality of ingredients that go into each batch, I do offer a 30-day 100% money back guarantee to customers if there is a defect in the quality of any our products or there is a mistake on my end. Not liking the scent of a product does not qualify as a defect and will not be accepted as a reason for reimbursement because everyone's sense of smell is different. I do try to describe scents to the best of my ability in the listing descriptions so please read carefully. Due to the personal nature of these products, I cannot accept exchanges unless your order is incorrect or there is an error on my part (but please contact me with problems or concerns). 

If your order is incorrect, please take pictures and contact me within 24 hours of receiving it. Failure to do so, automatically voids any responsibility on my part. I will exchange the product for the correct one once I receive the product back. I will reimburse the buyer for shipping expenses provided they used the cheapest flat-rate USPS offers.

If any damages occur during shipment of your package, it is the customer's responsibility to contact the delivery carrier within the correct amount of time to file a claim. Please see the USPS website for guidelines.  

Privacy: Mother Esque is committed to respecting your privacy and protecting the personal information you share. I believe in treating others the way I wish to be treated, therefore your privacy is of the utmost importance to me. I never sell/give away your personal information or use it for purposes outside of sales/emails/promotions generated from this website. All customers should know I maintain a secure site for your security and peace of mind Please read my in-depth privacy policy here.

Holidays: I am closed all weekends and legal holidays, and therefore will not ship out your order until the next business day. Day 1 of shipping days begins on that first business day.

Disclaimer: Please be sure to read the ingredient lists on all products before purchasing to avoid anything you may be allergic to. Although reactions are rare, in order to reduce that risk even further, I highly recommend testing the product on a small area of skin 12-24 hours before use. If any irritation emerges, discontinue use immediately. Pregnant or breastfeeding women may want to consult with their doctor for products containing essential oils (I personally have used products with EO throughout my last 5 pregnancies and never had the slightest problem).

Caution: Due to the abundant, skin-loving ingredients I use in my soaps, truffles, and bath bombs, bathtubs MAY develop a small film on top and become slippery. Please use extreme caution getting in and out so as to avoid slipping. Although I use FDA approved, skin-safe colorants, micas, and other agents to disperse ingredients and botanicals into water, it is recommended you rinse afterwards to avoid any ring left in tub that may stain. Do not use products with intense colors or dyes in vinyl or refurbished bathtubs as it may cause staining.

Product Variations: Due to the nature of handmade products, I cannot guarantee that each product will look exactly alike...this is the beauty of buying handcrafted. I do try to describe the scents of all products the best that I can, but please be aware that these descriptions may be open to interpretation. I cannot to be held responsible if you do not like the color, scent, texture, etc. of the products once you receive them. I reserve the right to change the recipes up a bit from time to time, or it may be a simple case that one batch gelled while another did not. Whatever the case, I stand behind my work and always test my products on myself and family before adding them to my line. PLEASE NOTE: Handcrafted soap lasts a lot longer if it is kept dry between uses. Using a soap dish that drains and keeping away from direct streams of water aid in loss prevention.

Reward Program: I have decided to incorporate a Reward Program into my policies so that customers know how much I appreciate their business. Besides the free gift for every order over $25, and free shipping for every order over $100, I am now going to allow accumulation of dollar amounts from orders so that a person can earn points. For every $300 spent, a person will earn $15 worth of points (5%). A gift certificate will be issued and emailed to the customer  so he or she can use the code given on their next order. These points can be used on any product in my web store. Unfortunately, these cannot be transferred to my Etsy shop or any other virtual platform. I will honor in-person sales provided I am given all the information such as name and address beforehand and am made aware that the buyer wants it to enroll in this program (buying at the farmer's market and then enrolling after the sale is complete and expecting points does not count).
